The term Time Management is a misnomer. You cannot manage time; you manage the events in your life about time. You may often wish for more time, but each day you only have 24 hours, 1,440 minutes, or 86,400 seconds.
Using that time depends on skills learned through self-analysis, planning, evaluation, and self-control.
Now let's have a look at some innovative ideas that people are using for their development.
# Understand How You Spend Your Time
Maintaining a time log is a helpful way to decide how you are using your time. Start recording what you are doing for 15-minute gaps for a week or two. Assess the results. Ask if you accomplished everything that needs.
Decide which tasks need the most, and select the time of day when you are most generative and productive. And examine where most of your time is saved– job, family, diversion, personal.
Recognize your most time-consuming tasks. And deciding whether you are infusing your time into the most important actions can help you to decide on a course of action.
Besides keeping a good sense of the amount of time. It's needed for routine tasks that can help you to be more accurate in planning and counting how much time is available for other actions.
# Establish priorities
Organizing your time requires a discrepancy between what is important and what is urgent (MacKenzie, 1990). Specialists agree that the most essential tasks are usually not the most urgent.
Yet, we overlook the urgent dominate our lives. One of the most effortless methods to focus on is to create a "to-do" list. Whether you need a daily, weekly, or monthly list according to your lifestyle.

• Make sure you have a backup system.
# Get Organized.
Most individuals find that disorganization outcomes to poor time management. Professional organizers suggest that you first get rid of the muddle. The next stage is to execute a system that allows you to handle detail and information (e.g., papers, tasks, e-mail, etc.) less, only when possible.
● Give it to somebody else to do, file, or answer

● Perform it yourself
● Then toss and throw it away or file it.
# Plan Your Time Properly

Good scheduling needs that you understand yourself. Operating your time log, you should have decided those times during the day when you are much more effective and Productive.
Prepare your most hard tasks for when you have the most energy. Set time for your high-priority actions first and secure that time from interruptions.

Assign responsibility for a task to someone else. Releasing some of your time for tasks that need your expertise. Delegation starts by recognizing tasks that others can do. And then picking the proper person to do them.
# Quit procrastinating
