“When faced with a challenge, look for a way, not a way out”
– David Weatherford
In simple terms, give your best but don’t quit.
Only by facing, you can move on. If you are looking for a way out, maybe temporarily you can escape. But, unless you face the problem, deal with it, you will be restless.
You can match this quote in all aspects of our life.
If you are facing challenges and difficulties at work or with your business, just give it a pause. Think for a way to solve it. Come up with a solution. But don’t escape from the challenge. For time being, you might become relaxed and things can go normal. But it definitely keeps coming until you solve it.
If you are facing challenges in life, solve it. Instead, don’t look for a way out. Only by facing you can resolve any challenges waiting in front of you.
In pursuit of achieving your dreams, you will understand how essential it is in facing the challenge instead of looking for a way out.
Looking for a way out reveals insecurity, a lack of courage, and lack of confidence in oneself. If you are in pursuit of finding a way, a solution, it means you are confident, hopeful, and optimistic.
Next time, when there is a challenge before you, don’t turn your back. Face it. Find a Way. It’s exciting when you are facing a challenge. You will never know how good you are until there comes a challenge in life.
Try. That is enough.
Look for a way. Don’t look for a way out.
“It is not in the still calm of life, or the repose of a pacific station, that great characters are formed. The habits of a vigorous mind are formed in contending with difficulties.”
– Abigail Adams
I form the true strength of character when my mind goes through difficulties and challenges in life.
Mental strength and vigor comes when you are put to contend with difficulties in life.
Great characters are not born but built and formed from a powerhouse called life.
Humility, humbleness, respect, and empathy are great characters that life instills in us. We may not understand it before, but after all that we have been through in life, now we will understand.
Once I come out of all the sufferings and challenges in life, I know how changed I would be. I can now understand that the world is not revolving around me alone. I will understand the power of empathy. I can see how people are strong and walking when life threw them down. I get inspiration and self-motivation from them.
We learn to respect and identify with fellow people. We will never know how difficult life can be until we are in such a situation.
The point is, good character is built by contending with life’s difficulties. It’s easy to see a person and say ‘you have changed’. What we don’t realize is the difficulties they faced.
The greatest character’s about smiling when everything in life is going wrong. It’s difficult to look positive and smile when there’s a lot of pain lurking inside.
See the people around you. The mental strength, vigor, faith, and courage has come after their sufferings.
Great character and vigor comes by contending in life.
“The Price of Success is hard work, dedication to the job in hand, and the determination that whether we win or lose, we have applied the best of ourselves to the task in hand.”
- Vince Lombardi
In short, give your best and leave the rest. Give the best of your efforts and do it with dedication. That is the payment success needs from you.
Make sure you feel you have given your best. We start and end the day with multiple commitments, obligations and meet different people. Whatever the situation might be, all you need is a determination to do things and give your best.
Successful people don’t start out to get results first. They take one day at a time and put all their best to it.
To give your best and not caring about winning or losing shows, a great deal of strength the mind and soul has. It takes a highly positive level of mind space to concentrate on work and not worry about the win or lose.
Take your hobby, for instance. You keep doing it without worrying about what it could turn out. Same time, even if you lose, you get to learn something. Point is, you are playing for the game and not playing for the win or lose in the game.
True Success takes three routes. First, it needs hard work from you. Second, success demands dedication to whatever you are doing. Third and most important is success, likes the players. Success doesn’t care about winner or losers. It needs true, dedicated players.
Whatever you have in your hand, do it with dedication. Start! Give your efforts. Rest is always a success.
It is amazing what you can achieve if you don’t care who gets the credits
– Harry S Truman
If you work for yourself, you will not worry about who is getting the credits. If you work for your satisfaction, you don’t need any external accolades or appreciations. This is the success route to your professional growth. Do it for yourself.
It’s amazing when we work for ourselves. Growth becomes a part of you. Talents grow into excellent skills. Confidence and self-trust grows.
Instead, if you work for credits, you can’t go for long. Especially, if the credit goes to someone else, your motivation fades quickly. Similarly, if we keep looking for appreciations, we get upset easily.
The next thing that hinders our professional life is people taking credits. It’s the bad trait that destroys work ethics and morals.
Let’s not do it.
Let’s not worry when people do it for you.
It’s definitely difficult to let go when people take your credits and steal your work.
The reality is, People, can’t go far in life when they take undeserved credits and other people’s work.
In the act of trying to expose them, you may succeed, or you may fail. Either way, you are adding stress to yourself. Let it go. That’s the least they could do.
Here’s the truth. True character always reveals itself. You don’t have to put extra efforts to expose them.
People can steal your work but people cannot take away your knowledge, skill, quality of your work and talent.
Enjoy the work. You will gain more important things than credits. Gradually, you will not care who takes the credits.
Don’t do it for acclaims. Do it for yourself. You can achieve amazing things without hassle.
“Sometimes you don’t need a goal in life; you don’t need to know the big picture. You just need to know what you’re going to do next!”
- Sophie Kinsella
We all will come to a place in life where there is no direction. We feel completely blank. We see nothing in front of us. We don’t know where to start, how to start, or find a way.
Blank space in life happens to everyone.
Relax.
Don’t stress yourself over goals. Don’t worry about what’s going to happen.
All you need to know is what you will do next. That’s it.
Don’t worry about the big picture. Just do the next thing you feel like doing!
Often times, you have to take things lightly. You can get through life easier that way.
When everything gets dark, I may not be in luxury to think about goals and dreams. But, confidently, I can take the next step that I can towards the light.
After battling with life challenges and tasks, I will come to a halt. I may not see a way. The goals I had, the plans I made, could have already gone ashore. I will feel like I am in the middle of a deserted place. You all have, or you all, maybe going through this phase in life. It’s fine.
This is where you need to take the next step confidently. Do it with the best of your efforts. Even if there’s no plan or goal, go for the next positive step for in your life.
Don’t worry. Whenever life puts you down, take the next step that you can.
