  • You need to have a big calendar that has enough blocks/space between each date in a month.
  • Have a Red-Marker with you.
  • For each day, on completing your task, you get to put a Big Red-Cross over that day on the calendar. It marks your task completion and acknowledges that you have done something.
  • After a few days of following this, you can see a chain of “X” on the calendar.
  • Keep maintaining the chain of “X”. People fix the chain length for a few days, one week, one month, etc. You can pick your choice of convenience
  • Don’t break the Chain. This is the rule. Keep at it. You can visibly see the chain growing in length. It means you are accomplishing consistently instead of procrastinating.
