“At times, our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us.” – Albert Schweitzer
As you people know my way of explaining anything, let us start with the situation!
I was sitting in my room reading a book. There was so much joy in that work that there was not paying attention anywhere else. My house help was cleaning my room. In the meantime, she reminded me that today is Friday; The day I used to give her some clothes every week.
As soon as she pointed this out, I moved towards my room's wardrobe and took out some clothes, and gave them without any hesitation. I was not having much confusion or worry about this thing. She took clothes from my hand as usual and started doing her work.
I just asked where the preparations for the wedding of her daughter had reached. She shook her head with a dead heart. I understood that there was some problem. So I gave her some money, a very small amount. But after this, the expressions on her face, and the way she thanked me, I cannot express it in words.
The book that I was reading suddenly become interesting even more, and there was no place for my happiness. Maybe this is called expressing gratitude! I was gratified! ❤️
