Success is when you mark the completion of a task and also achieve your targeted purpose. In a nutshell, success is when you accomplish your goals.

Success can also be termed as the measurement of finishing a specific job in your favor. Success primarily implies the achievement of positive results.

Success is all about reaching a predetermined objective and accomplishing something that is of value or of some importance either to you or others which you had set out to do over a period of time. However, success is not always about earning wealth, it is far beyond that. Success is also about the results or the outcomes that fall in your way because of your contributions in terms of talent, skill, or love showcased.

Success in simple words means achieving your goals and fulfilling your dreams and desires in a way that favors you and is further seen as the continued expansion of happiness and realization of worthy goals.

If you are a successful person, it means you are happy and to add to this, your happiness is not dependent on others all the time. If you like yourself, like what you do and like how you do it, that in itself sweeps success towards you. Success over a period of time also becomes your personality trait and your status symbol.

Understand that not everything you do might bring you success, you might fail at times, which is part of life, and that you have to accept.

Having said all that, there are many people around the world who have seen success at many phases of their lives though they must have experienced failures in the midst.

There are certain habits that run in common to the highly successful people around you. Listed below are a couple of those.

  1. Focus on your inner self. Every day, make it a point that you spend time talking to self in isolation. Do it for at least 15 minutes every single day. Analyze your inner thoughts. Focus on areas of your career, health, and relationships. Discuss them with your inner voice. This will help you breathe easy and gain self-esteem in driving your thoughts and ideas towards success.
  2. Make it a habit that you wake up early from bed every single day, without fail, and without a pause. By doing so, you feel that you have a lot of time in life. A majority of the work gets over by the time the clock ticks your regular wake up time. Not only this, by waking up early from your regular time, you also get refreshed and begin to work your activities for the entire day with full of energy.
  3. Do a lot of workouts. Unleash your body for at least 30 minutes every day, be in aerobics, playing a sport, or any other kind of physical fitness activity. 
  4. Read a lot of books. Prefer to read biographies, fables, and other self-help, inspirational, and motivational books. They teach you a lot of life lessons. Read about other personalities who turned out to be self-made millionaires. You get a lot of ideas and by also adding your thoughts to those, you will begin to excel.
  5. Spend time with people who have either faced success in life or with people who inspire your thoughts and ideas. Drive home their thoughts into your life. Also learn a lot of life skills from them. Meet their positive sides.
  6. Keep yourself up-to-date with times. Read a lot and know more about your career line, your profession, and your industry. 
  7. Record all your activities. Maintain a journal, but do it the right way. Use your journal to record all the events and important aspects that drove you that day. Also, record all the financial related matters. Set yourself goals as per timelines and write down what you want to be in life. Work towards them and continue doing the same.
  8. Give up on your bad habits. Work more on the areas of your strengths. Understand that every weakness of yours is an opportunity for you to learn something new. Keep trying different challenges. It is ok to fail during the process. Because of failures, you get more ideas and more innovative thoughts to perform things in a much better way.
  9. Remove the fear factor from your mind. Fears cause barriers to your success. So, just wipe off the inferiority complex and grill down hard in working and facing new challenges in life.
